Other than the main missions the game has a huge amount to offer, you can play as a normal schoolboy and attend classes, (the classes play out as a series of mini-games that relate to the specific subject), or you can play truant and just mess about, I found the mini-games to be really fun though so I actually attended more classes than I skipped, which is a bit sad I know, but they really are fun games, you can also undertake side missions to earn extra cash, these include bike races, mowing lawns, delivering papers and helping people out, the game is also full of small distractions that are too numerous to mention but add so much to overall experience. When you start your first day at the school most of the other students hate you, to gain popularity and respect you complete missions around the school and surrounding areas, after a while you gain friends, make enemies and find your place within the school. You take control of Jimmy, a 15 year old delinquent who has been expelled from every school he's ever attended, as a result his mother and step father dump him in Bullworth Academy, one of the worst boarding schools around. First of all please note the version I am reviewing is the Xbox 360/Xbox One dual version, which is basically the Xbox 360 game re-packaged, the disc works as normal on the Xbox 360 and works via backward compatibility on the Xbox One, the game has not been enhanced or remastered in any way.Įven though this game has been around since the PS2 days this is actually my first time playing Bully, it's one of those games that was on my radar but for whatever reason I never got round to playing it, I have to say I definitely missed out because the game is fantastic.
